自2010年开始，中国美术学院率先汇聚所有专业的毕业作品，面向公众集中展示，以“毕业展示周”的全新形式，向社会推荐优秀人才，开艺术学院之先河。2019年，这场全球最大规模的毕业展狂欢冲破了学院围墙，走向杭城，凝结起更大的力量，一方面内外打通，形成一所“无墙的学院”；另一方面实现教学成果与社会共享、办学成就与城市同步、青年艺术家与时代同成长，形成了国内最具影响力的毕业季。

正如中国美术学院党委书记金一斌所说：“如今，中国美院毕业季已然成为涵盖视觉艺术、设计、展演、潮流、时装走秀、市集等文化艺术门类的青春盛宴，汇聚了一群最具创新能力和创新志愿的年青艺术家、设计师，他们的作品满城绽放，扎根现实、感悟人间、反哺社会。”

中国美术学院视觉传播学院2024毕业展以“世界投影”为主题，希望通过视觉表现“投影物”与“投影源”间观念化关系生产的过程，即对投影源头的溯源。以“变形投影”为原理，视觉团队设计了一套投射-观看的机制，将世界的影像扭曲映射在二维圆盘，在中心设置镜面圆柱，当围绕圆柱观看时，底部扭曲的360°图像被还原。整体呈现如一个现代版的柏拉图洞穴隐喻，观者所见的圆盘虚像是由投影和投影源共同构成，视域内同时出现真实图景与虚像。

动态设计中，“WORLD PROJECTION”和世界影像作为投影源在低维圆面展开，不断向圆心旋转上升如宇宙的全息景象。以看似二维的呈现方式将“变形投影”作为观看工具来窥测和推演高维世界的本质，借假修真、幻里求觉。现场领取的导览册也设计了卷曲结构，当柱体立于海报圆心并还原展开圆面的扭曲图像时，观众在交互中亲身参与一场多维度、多角度的投影源溯源，以获得“现实感”的框架，看见的“世界”，“世界投影”才具有“世界模型”的意义。

The 2024 graduation exhibition of the School of Communication & Design of China Academy of Art, with the theme of "World Projection", hopes to visually represent the production process of the conceptualized relationship between the "projected object" and the "source of projection", that is, to trace the source of projection. Through visual representation, we hope to produce a conceptualized relationship between "projected object" and "source of projection", i.e. to trace back to the source of projection. Based on the principle of “anamorphic projection”, the visual team designed a projection-viewing mechanism, in which the image of the world is distorted and mapped on a two-dimensional disk, with a mirrored cylinder in the center, and when viewed around the cylinder, the distorted 360° image at the bottom is restored. The overall presentation is like a modern version of Plato's cave metaphor, where the virtual image of the disk seen by the viewer is composed of both the projection and the source of the projection, with both the real picture and the virtual image appearing in the field of view at the same time.

In the dynamic design, the "WORLD PROJECTION" and the world image as the projection source unfolds in the low-dimensional circular surface, continuously rotating towards the center of the circle and rising like a holographic view of the universe. The seemingly two-dimensional presentation of the "morphing projection" as a viewing tool to peer into and deduce the nature of the high-dimensional world, using falsehoods to cultivate reality and seek awareness in illusion. The guidebook received at the site is also designed with a curling structure, when the column stands at the center of the poster and restores the distorted image of the unfolded circle, the audience will personally participate in a multi-dimensional and multi-angle projection source traceability in the interaction, in order to obtain the framework of the "sense of reality",  the "world" seen. It is only in this way that 'world projection' takes on the meaning of 'world model'.
